what are some of the best excuses that you have told your boss regarding skipping work

    I have used
    1. Doctors
    2. Dental appointments
    3. taking care of family
    4. Uni Exams

but I need to skip work again next week, so please share your experiences and insights, i for one, cant not think of anymore legitimate excuses

PS I dont want to use "going to the funeral" as an excuse since its a bad omen and sort of disrespectful

Tell your boss you have a sick tree, and have to wait for a tree doctor to show up.

Well if I don't want to go to work, finding another job would not be the answer because I just wouldn't show up to that one either. Of course there is always the advantage of using your old excuses all over again.
