    I have the feeling that Friday will be a huge day for the city of Houston and Rockets fans everywhere. We will annouce our new coach (Jeff Van Gundy) we will open our new arena to the cameras! It's just gonna feel like we are a expansion team or something. I hope we show off out new unis and logo that would be GREAT :D I'm so excited JVG was our first choice all along PATIENCE IS A VIRTURE and we had plenty off it. WAY TO GO HOUSTON ROCKETS!!!!:D pep rally friday!!

    i feel your excitement man! this is like last offseason after we drafted Yao. hopefully this upcoming season wont be as big a disappointed as the previous one...

    I don't want to kill your joy here, man. But I'd rather it feel like we're a franchise that's won 2 NBA titles in the last 10 years and has a proud tradition of cranking out HOF centers.

    I know but when i said expansion team i meant the excitement feel like an expansion team it's like we are starting over new arena, new coach, new unis, new attitude thats all i was saying beleive me i am well educated on the 2 championships ( i was at the parades and the games) but this just feels good to have a fresh start thats all I'm saying:D

    A guarantee of a losing season, and 3 years minimum before the playoffs are a possibility?

    okay we can stay with the same unis, same arena, and same coach and another yr in tha lottery draft. come guys yall know what i mean when i say expansion, the feeling not reality!!DUH:eek:

    I have no idea, but I hope they do that would be a perfect opportunity to show off the jerseys and logo but knowing the rox they won't :confused:

    I'll take the same arena (*) and the same coach. Give me the classic uni's rather than the PJ's, and I'm all set.

    Another year in the lottery? That's probably happening, "new feeling" or not. :(

    (*) I have nothing against the downtown building, and it will likely be a great place. However, the Summit, particularly when in full repair, had its charms.

    Well, I hope that CD and Les know what they are doing with the "coaching match..."

    Because who knows, maybe JVG would be better for SF and Yao, than Dunleavy.

    Not sure. But we'll see. It's in the hands of CD and friends.

    JVG might be a better mentor than Dunleavy.
