    Hey,

quick help from clutchfans. I got a traffic ticket in Sugar Land and one in Katy. Pulled me over for running light on yellow and my inspection was expired. Same day both places.

So, does anyone know of any good attorneys, I use Kubosh but they are charging like $150 to come to Sugar Land and $70 for Clay road court.

I thank you guys for support, I am glad I complied with him just saw story about those suspects getting shot in downtown.

I saw that article on chron.com. It's definitely important to comply with the cops since they can get away with some things if you dont.

Alright but the court house is in Sugar Land, usually those attorneys charge a lot to come to Sugar land courts. Thanks for the info.

The last ticket I got for speeding my inspection and license were expired and they didn't even notice, it's awesome to be a blond innocent looking white guy. Got off with a warning for going 30 mph over too. :p

save the cash and take defensive driving for $20-30 online and have the ticket dismissed.

Don't inspection sticker violations tend to get dismissed if you go get your car inspected and show up in court with proper documentation? When did it expire?

As one of the other posters said, you can generally take defensive driving to dismiss at least one of the tickets.

Why do you want an attorney? Do you have other tickets on your record that may make these difficult to get out of using DD (sorry there can't be a thread without mention of DD)?

I used Eustler or Eusler(sp?) Law Firm last year for a speeding ticket. They delayed the court date for more than half a year and got my ticket dismissed, no defensive driving or anything. They cost 75$.

Inspection, registration, and a couple of others can be dismissed prior to court date if you get the infraction taken care of.

City of Houston courts charge $20 for court costs. I'm sure everybody else charges some similar nominal fee. I got one from City of Houston for expired registration a couple of months ago. A week before the date, I mailed a copy of the receipt for the new registration and a check for $20 to the city.

    It was very easy.

Did you have a clean driving record prior to these infractions?

Get your car inspected and bring proof to the courthouse asap and it'll probably get dismissed. If money is the biggest issue, plead nolo contendere to the stop light ticket and take defensive driving.

$25 for the course. $110 for the court costs/fees.
