During the discussion in Sishir's everything 80's rant, I brought up the point that 90's music sucked. I've now decided to modify that statement to "a lot of 90's music sucked but their rock (pop rock, soft rock) was actually pretty good"

List some of the good ROCK songs from the 90's. Please no rap, no Britney, no Celine Dion. Just rock, I don't care if its pop rock, soft, hard, whatever. and please no grunge. we're not 15 year old emos.

and yes, combined with my classical music thread, I am looking for more songs to add to the trusty MP3 player :D

My favorites...and if some of them of pop, well then just call me Judy.

NOTE: I wil update this list as people add songs that I like =)

    Duncan Sheik - Barely Breathing
    Verve Pipe - The Freshmen
    Wallflowers - One Headlight
Tal Bachman - She's So High (I heard htis one in 1999, so it makes the cut)
    Live - Lightning Crashes
    Jars of Clay - Flood
    Weezer - Buddy Holly
Marcy's Playground - Sex and Candy
    Soul Asylum - Runaway Train
    Bush - Glycerine
Smashing Pumpkins - Butterly with Bullet Wings(?)

My personal 'one good thing to come from the 90's' has to be the EDM explosion that occurred.

No discussion on 90's music is complete without a reference to the Toadies.

Rubberneck all decade album of the 90's

Its weird they are playing 3-4 shows on their reunion tour and one of them is in Houston.
