Damn, Zach Johnson is on fire with his putter... 2 huge par saves in a row.

This has always been my favorite tournament, I know the back 9 Sunday at Augusta is legit but this field is so much better and love these courses

I enjoy this one, the Masters, and the US Open equally... kinda look at the PGA like the red-headed stepchild of the group.

Course seems to be playing pretty simple right now. For this tournament, I like it when the wind gets really nasty and wreaks havoc on the field.

I don't care what the forecast says you know there will be bad weather at some point.

I agree the Masters, US and the Open are all on a different level than the PGA. Don't get me wrong I will be fired up for it especially a great course like Oak Hill

Who are you pulling for? In order, I generally root for:

    1)Tiger
    2)Gators (Horschel, Villegas, Calc, DiMarco)
    ...
    ...
    ...
    125983)Phildo (except in Ryder/President's Cup)

I also like the newish group of US stars (Bubba, Fowler, Mahan, etc) and Rory.

Ernie Els is my favorite golfer

Would love to see Tiger in contention Sunday no matter how it goes.

I'm a UH alum so my guys will be playing next week in the Senior Open ha

I'm not really a fan of the American golfers as a whole but guys like Bubba are easy to root for. Love Cabrera as well and he is living in Houston

Tiger played great, I think he goes super low tomorrow morning before the wind starts blowing hard

    36 hole leader

I picked Luke Donald to win.

Promptly shoots +9 to put him in a tie for 143rd.

Agree, he played very well considering he was in the afternoon. Really hope you are right about him going low and leading after 36... will be staying up again to watch him.

Don't worry, I said to my friend as Shiv was going ham 'he could shoot a 59 today and still wouldn't win'. The meltdown is coming. As for O'Meara, who knows... the old-timers have a chance depending on how the wind blows.

Damnit, Tiger. Hitting the ball great, but already missed two short par putts. Westwood is on fire, but I doubt his putter stays hot all weekend.

What do you think the 36 hole lead will be? Think Zach comes back to the field? I'm guessing it'll be -4.

Westwood seems to be the only one who has a chance at going lower. Ill say this if your -4 im not sure you will have the 36 hole lead but you would of put yourself in great shape

Tiger is playing like crap... needs to just band-aid the rest of the round and get in without any more damage... if he stays at -1 he's still in good shape going into the weekend.

lee westwood is a supreme ball striker but his lack of sufficient short game will keep him from winning.
