    To watch with the gf....

    Scary movie, and action movie.

    Suggestions? And please if you suggest a scary movie keep it after 2000 and not paranormal activity or that 'lost footage' bull **** they have been doing so much these days.

    The Blair Witch Project (1999) is a classic, and always fun to watch

    For action, any Jackie Chan stuff is good for laughs... Doubt she'd want to watch Rambo:grin:

    If you're renting anywhere outside of redbox, I highly recommend The Mist to cover the horror genre

    Girl in the black dress is a decent horror. Cliche with the "boo" scenes but not bad

    Action...there are a ton. Hard to say.

    The Librarian: Quest for the Spear. I've always found this to be an entertaining franchise. It stars Noah Wyle as a dashing character so I assume your gf would like it. It is a good popcorn movie.

    You could also go old school and go for Joe Versus the Volcano. Interesting movie if you haven't seen it.

    I loved Drive, but it is most likely NOT a movie you want to watch with a girl...the violence is graphic
