its on the 5th of march (friday), in toronto, raptors against the new york knicks. i wish it was the rockets but oh well. 52 CAD, for the prime balcony. very steep for this university student. any advice for the first timer? what should i bring? how early should i be there (starts at 7)? man i'm so excited.
If you are like me, you might miss the play-by-play voice. I tried bringing a sony arm walkman, but it sucked on reception. So, you will have to call your own play-by-play! LOL!! Since it's your first time, I say get there an hour (or more) before tip off. That way you can get some snacks/drinks, get to your seats and then enjoy the atmosphere; looking around, listening to the intercom music, and watching the pre-game warmups. P.S. You will be surprised on how tall the point guards are. They look like "midgets" on TV.
I don't know why anyone would want to listen to a broadcast during a live game. I find that seeing it in person is enough. Atmosphere is everything. I suggest you bring your own snacks, buying food in the arenas is a waste of money.
Not enough for a regular season game with only 10,000 fans in the seats. Play-off game, ok. But not all. Besides, I enjoy the color commentary.
I'd like to think my knowledge of the game is enough that I don't have to listen to a guy on a radio for details... besides it interupts my heckling.
you can bring in your own snacks? i thought the movie theater rules apply in stadiums. rainbow wig, bullhorn, heckling, anything else?
You "can't" bring your own snacks. Sneak them into the arena, in your jacket, or pants. Depending on your tastes.
goddamnit, vince is out 2-4 weeks, jalen rose has 4 broken bones in his left hand, bosh is questionable. sucks ass
The issue is that when you watch any player on TV, they don't look as tall as they do in person. It's not about a "specific" height.
