I'm going to go move in to the dorm today, and so wish me luck! Won't have my computer for like a couple of months, but i will be coming back home on weekends. Won't be able to take full advantage of the national coverage for the rockets, but i guess school should be first priority. Hopefully my 2 roomates are cool. Bye! BTW, I'm going to cal poly pomona so if any of you guys are going there, um, "holla at yo boy". lol that was dumb :[
Good luck dw ... a guy in my office is from cal poly pomona ... Sounds like a great place to go You'll need to get NBA league pass considering your school doesnt have much of a sports program. You've got a lot to learn ... C'mon now ... The Rockets with T-Mac and Yao definitely take priority over school
We must have been the same year. At least, we graduated from undergrad the same year. I love college. Spent one year out, back to grad school, and teaching after that. So I still get to hang around. I miss getting to blend in better with the students, though. (I usually do, until the word gets around that I'm a professor. Then I have to deal with people being scared of me, or my exams, or being nice to me just because they think they have to. ) Better than the real world at any rate...
College is been really sucks for me, there's not much social life down here at UT Dallas. I know I shouldn't expect much from a school that have a 1410 avg. SAT score, but this is just terrible. My dilemma right now is whether or not I should transfer to UT Austin. While I do like the small class size and the CS programs down here, but if I don't transfer, I might bore to death before I graduate.
It sucks having to take 18 hours, in what will be your last semester at the local HCC (Cy Fair). While at the same time having a deadline of a few mere weeks to decide on a major; before transferring to U of H in the spring. I got nothing
He's only one month in, no midterms yet even! At this point, it's all parties and skipping class, of course it's awesome.
