Memphis just brought in a 2nd overall pick and a $33 million big man and is apparently disfavored among Spaniards, including the young Gasol's sibling. At a reasonable $3 million a year, the male Gasol sibiling has size and skills to succeedin in the NBA. Would the Rockets be able to deal with him? It would seem appear difficult given that the team lacks the kind of players Memphis prefer. The closest I can come up with is... But he would appear to be too skilled and generally cheerful for the taste of Grizzlies ownership. There's another option, but I don't know where Memphis comes up with the contracts to absorb $23 million. Otherwise, it would make me intensely sad if any current contributing Rocket is to be condemned to the fate of being traded to that dark abyss. Any thought on how this could happen?
Just offer scola and barry for gasol and barry. I brought this up in another thread. Gasol is as good as scola right now and he's 4 yrs younger. throw in warrick and its a go.
