the first one is like $20.... well worth it, one of the greatest games i've ever played. and the 2nd is supposed to be better
Sounds like you just finished the sex mini-game. Yeah, the first game is a Greatest Hit, so it should be $20 at most places. I think Amazon even has it for $15. It is short enough that you might be able to get through it just by renting it for a week or so, but at $15-$20, you might as well buy it (I rented it when it was still $50). The game's length was my only complaint; besides that, it was practically perfect IMO. It got nice reviews (94 at Metacritic), and sold well over a million copies. GOW2 is apparently twice as long and just as good (if not better) in all the other aspects, according to reviews anyway. I've been pretty much amazed every time I've seen it. I hope they keep these high standards for the future GOW releases (GOW PSP and PS3).
Man I am so behind. I just finished beating the first GOW about 5 minutes ago. All I can say is AMAZING. That was without a doubt the greatest action game I have ever come accross. You can put me down for GOW2 in a heartbeat.
How is that sad? It works well as far as their strategy goes (same as with the PS1, when FFIX and a few other PS1 games were pushed after the launch of the PS2).
Will probably be picking this game up this weekend, the first one was probably one of my favorite games of all time

I hear the original God of War is coming to PSP. Great news if its true. That means another awesome game coming to the hand held system.
It isn't the original God of War. It is a new entry in the series, which would basically bridge any gaps between GOW2 and GOW3 (maybe like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories...but w/o the cards I hope).
