That was pretty bad. Credit to Jonathan Givony. After hearing the first few answers, it would have been easy for him to just pack it up and move on, but he stuck it out and tried his hardest to get the kid to answer questions. My favorite was when he was asked about athletes in his family. Givony was clearly fishing for him to say something about his Olympian sister, but instead he mentioned that his brothers all played basketball and are tall.
The dude couldnt even answer what his strengths are on the basketball court...wtf. Even I know what Im good at and what I suck at when I ball.
The reporter was annoying, I think we have too many of them and they expect too much; plus he sounded like Zierlein doing Holtz. Athletes are not very verbose to begin with, mix in that he's a teenager and from another country: so probably observing more than speaking, I think he did fine. I can't critique basketball, but he had a solid steal for a big man, and didn't seem to need a first or second step on those two dunks.
