If the Mavs- Warriors trade goes down, i think it will be interesting to trade for Najera, he is a a great defensive player that JVG loves since he was comentarist. Plus we need him to quiet one Problem to Yao i will give MoT- for Najera and a Second roud Pick or we can use the TE your thougs
ok ok, i was just dreaming with the MoT idea, but i think we really need this guy, because we need more defense, so please tell me options to get this guy, do you think we can make a three team trade with Mavs and Warriors
VIVA MéXICO CABRONES!!! OK, now that I got that off my chest... Yeah, get Najera. He won't give YAO any crap anymore... only during practice... "¿Oye Yao... recuerdas cuando hice que me comitieras falta la temporada pasada?" -subtitles- Say, Yao... 'member when I made you fould me last season?
The only way i'd take najera is if the trade looked like this: Najera for any two of these players C-Spoon, A Griffin, and Pike These players might not get of the bench this season...
But if we had an injury, Spoon or Pike could play legitimate minutes for this team. Najera is just a thug brought in to harrass the other team's frontcourt players for 5 minutes a game.
Well, Mo T would give GS an opportunity to get rid of some payroll to get salary cap space ready to sign Yao when he becomes a free agent. So, maybe they'll be tempted. Seriously, I doubt GS will be looking to move him again. He's pretty much the headliner for what they got from Dallas. Also, I really don't think we need more defense. We had plenty of defense last year and will continue to have it as long as Van Gundy is the coach. What we really need is offense -- enough natural talent to overcome Van Gundy's low focus on it.
Najera is a pendejo. Probably one of the dirtiest players in the NBA - a reputation he's carried since his days at OU.
A dirty player in another team is called a thug. A dirty player in your own team is called an enforcer. Beauty in the eyes of the beholders.
You may laugh at me, but I never think it's cool to have a thug, even on my team. There are lots of players who play dirty (Malone, Divac, Rodman), but usually they bring something else to the table. Having someone in there just for hacking takes away from the fun of the game. Najera would frustrate me no matter what team he's on.
