Thank God for the Cavs. With them beating Indiana today and houston losing to orlando, not only have pacers dropped further from playoff race (giving us raptors pick), but now they (cavs)have better record than rockets (better draft positioning for houston). God i'm looking forward to the off-season. i should be a very interesting one

The Pacers suck. Isiah's lack of ability to see the faults in Tinsley is costing them a playoff birth.

I feel for their fans; maybe they'll win the lottery, dump Isiah, and draft a real PG and put Tinsley where he belongs - on the bench. He can't shoot, fouls too much, and leads the league in turning the ball over. Not what I want from my PG.

Isaiah Thomas is not a good coach i agree. The pacer squad is pretty good, and considering they are in the eastern conference should be higher than they currently are. Larry Bird took them to within 1 game of a finals run a few years back and now seem to miss playoffs or make it as 8th seed. sure they traded jalen rose and travis best, but they did pick up artest, mercer and miller. isaiah thomas just doesnt know how to make them work together. i must admit tho, that the loss of both davis' have hurt pacers aswell.

Big--Jermaine O'Neal for Dale Davis has got to be one of the biggest steals of the past few years. In favor of the pacers.

i agree 100%. but when both davis' played togehter the pacers defense was much more intimidating than a miller/o'neal defense IMO. or perhaps back then the pacers actually played better defense under larry bird.

Funny. Two months ago, everyone here that Tinsley was a dark horse fo ROY and Steve's replacement. Now, he sucks.

I've always been on Tinsley's case. Pull up the old Grant Hill vs Danny Manning threads from months ago and you'll see that I argued against Tinsley even then.

Even then, Tinsley was only a top 15 PG at best. Now, he's below league average.

But the other Davis for Jonathon Bender was almost as bad in favor of the Raptors. Indiana might have won a ring had they not done that trade (probably not, but they did go 6 with the Lakers w/o Antonio so it is quite a possible they could have won) and was one of the reasons Bird left (front office made the deal).
