We go after rider!! very simple the man might be a simple jerk and even a total basketcase but he can play! Francis out he would be a good team player for us we wanna win! we go for rider! Bet rudy can handle him
Actually I wouldn't mind Rider, I think this team needs a good kick in the mouth attitude in the bunch...
I think that would be a good idea going after Rider. Even if he is a punk and not a team player he can still help us.
Can we sign him to an non-guaranteed contract and then release if it doesn't work out or when Steve returns? How about Jimmy Jackson for a while?
As a Nugs fan, I hope you guys do sign Rider. Great, I just wasted my 300th post talking about J.R. Rider. Awwww crap. Um....time to save it. UTAH JAZZ SUCK!!!!! Now I feel better.
Nuggets4, I'm sure he wouldn't be off your roster if it wasn't a money tihng. The only reason you cut him is because his contract was not guaranteed.
No way. Rider's the last person I'd bring in right now (other than Karl Malone or John Stockton). He's not the kind of guy you want to sign on a team with good chemistry like the Rockets have. "Actually I wouldn't mind Rider, I think this team needs a good kick in the mouth attitude in the bunch..." We already have a punch-in-the-face attitude, do we need a kicker too?
HA! I already divulged this in the NBA forum, and I could go more in-depth here, but what's the point? Read this article which only scratches the surface of Rider's troubles with Denver.
I'd rather develop Oscar Torres than waste minutes with Rider. How many teams does he have to fail on before people realize that he is not a TEAM player. He never shows up for practice, then wants to score all the points when he decides to show up for the game. Rider sucks!
It so tempting to sign Isaih Rider. I relish the thought of reading Feigen articles in the Chronicle about Rider missing practice, missing planes, etc. We could have a Rider bobble head doll smoking a blunt.
