Although I know many of ya'll will say that it is nearly impossible to pry Brand away from Jerry Krause. But his failure to build the next great dynasty could really help the Rockets. Krause needs a player he can market, and I take nothing away from Brand, but he is not the marketable type. Most marketable players are flash-and-dash, high-flying dunk type players. Brand is an unselfish 20 and 10 guy who lets his game do the talking. A package of Walt Williams (a veteran presence), Kelvin Cato (if Tim Floyd wants him, if not I wouldn't insult the Bulls in even trying to take him), and three first round draft picks (the one they owe the Rockets from the Drew deal, this years lotto pick, and next years 1st round pick). Brand is a complete player at the four, his D needs work, but he has great upside, and we wouldn't have to worry about whether or not Webber is coming. Go ahead fire away. ------------------
