Reading the thread about Gone Baby Gone, reminded me of Gnarls Barkley song, Gone Daddy Gone. So I went to Youtube and started to view some of their music videos. And I am really impressed... I think all of them are really imaginative and unique, with a bit of humor. Here's one of my favorites (Great Song BTW) <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fQC66oGsDgg&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fQC66oGsDgg&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> Man, I haven't listened to this album for months now. I think I'll put it in my car's player first thing tomorrow. For anyone hasn't listened to it, they are missing out on a great blend of Funk, Soul, and Hip-Hop.
Uh, Gone Daddy Gone is a old Violent Femmes song, so it's not that unique. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KZXhlwYOyLw&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KZXhlwYOyLw&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
I didn't say their songs are unique and original. Just their music videos. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-zc2908P7bs&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-zc2908P7bs&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
New one called "Run". Love the Timberlake cameo. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qXSPqG2UV6s"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qXSPqG2UV6s" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
their cd is amazing. I love their style, I like people that push the boundaries like them and outkast....that is, if they make it work.
Crazy - is one of my all time Favorite Videos [Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel is another one] they push the edge .. just like some of Bjork's videos Rocket River
They had that great live performance on one of the music (video?) awards where everyone dressed up as Star Wars characters. EDIT: Here it is... <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7HvTNAXqB88"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7HvTNAXqB88" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
They did a cover song so that invalidates the rest of their music? You really should stay out of music threads.
I'm glad someone brought this thread back up. I just can't get enough of Cee-Lo's voice. I dare you to watch the video below and not be moved emotionaly by it. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uPzohswI5Tc"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uPzohswI5Tc" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
