Is there somthing wrong with gmail? Every time I log in to my account, the page will not load. It keeps refreshing itself. It has been doing this all day. In the bottom left corner (IE) it says done, then opening, then done and so on very rapidly. Also, in the address bar, a bunch of letters and numbers keeps changing in the gmail address. Anyone else experience this issue? It has been happening to me all day. I dont have another ocmputer, so I have not eliminated it being a problem on my end, but I have never had this issue.
Hmm...both of my accts are doing that. My inbox shows up on my personalized google homepage but I cant access it or view the emails. I ran a virus scan too and nothing came up
firefox? maybe you installed a new extension. gmail always acts up when using it with opera. and also, you may want to delete your cache, if its full, it f's up my gmail.
What do you see on your status bar when you encounter that problem? Perhaps take a look at the JavaScript console in the Mozilla browsers, but IE doesn't help too much with troubleshooting. I've seen it happen, but then I just hold SHIFT and click REFRESH and it works like the mail.
u may have to update your java, it was required when they updated it a few updates back http://mail.google.com/mail/help/about_whatsnew.html as it states on top of the page
I figured that was the problem since i had a mail.google.com/# address at the top when I tried to login. Its working now, but for some reason it wouldnt load earlier today.
mine has been doing that for a month or so I just keep hitting refresh until the inbox shows up. Never does it when I check with my phone through the mobile web browser though.
