Did anyone go see Kanye and lupe fiasco lastnight? Kanye put on an amazing show. Lupe fiasco went on at 7pm, which sucked but he did come out and do the last song w kanye.

Several people there told me Lupe went on at 6:45-6:50 and that it was a damn shame because no one was hardly there.

    Blame the Woodlands Housing Association.
I think that place has to be dead quiet before midnight or the Pavillion gets fined.

They need to build a pavillion in the harris county area.

not exactly in the loop, but on the outskirts.

I'd have loved to have gone... to see Lupe Fiasco. Still, Kanye would've been great too.

Lupe was on from 6:45-7:15 and I thought he did a great job, too bad most people weren't paying attention.

I was really impressed with N.E.R.D. I thought they brought a lot of energy.

Kanye was great, but I felt like I was watching a play instead of a concert. Would've liked a little more crowd interaction. And some backup singers instead of the canned vocals would've been nice...but I can't complain too much, still a fun show!

i was the show. crazy. there's very few hiphop artists that can pull off a show like that. but i agree with drake that there wasn't a lot of crowd connection because he was trying to do a narrative. amazing show. he'll never beat jay-z live in my view, but he put on a crazy show. all by himself too.

i thought rihanna killed it too. very polisher performer.

n*e*r*d was meh to me and lupe was great.

woodlands is a terrible place to have a concert. you have to trek up there and deal with traffic. parking is a pain. and you have to walk 10 minutes to the venue. i don't understand why they didn't have it at the TC.

Yeah, that was a really cool concert.
yeah, i agree with the others that said it sucked to see lupe fiasco come first like that. hardly anyone was there to see him, but his performance was real cool. and the shirts that had the lyrics to "paris tokyo" was cool

rihanna and n.e.r.d. did pretty good as well, but i really came to see lupe and kanye. kanye's performance was fire, it was one of the best i'd ever seen. the whole spaceship thing was nice, except when he got mad haha. and i liked when lupe came out for "touch the sky". it was an overall great concert

I've never been to a concert at TC, but if it's anything like the Summit, then the Woodlands is a FAR better place to see a show.

Yeah, I hate having to drive out there as much as anyone, but if you can get there early enough to park at the mall across the street then parking/traffic are virtually non-existent.

    What happened?

I saw it when he came to DFW. Nice show and the SuperPages.com Center is much better than The Woodlands.

If you saw a bouncer there with a mullet, Pecos Bill mustache, and probably crocodile skin boots, that was my accounting teacher. He's a douchebag.

the screens on either side of the stage weren't working and just had blue up there. as he launched into "I wonder," he started cursing at the tech people. he was like "fix this *****! take the damn blue off! if you can't fix this ***** then turn 'em off!" after 30 seconds he just stopped his set and yelled at them to turn 'em off.. which they did. the crowd thought it was pretty funny.

I went to the Glow in the Dark tour here in Denver, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with Kanye to the...

We sat in the 7th row and looked slick with the the shutter/stunner shades.

I really went to see Lupe, but yeah, Kanye does put on a pretty good show. If you can take all of the theatrics and the acting( it's like a love affair between him and a computer named Jane) then it's a good time.

During "Hey Mama" Kanye was angry about some of the kids in the front rows who didn't stand up. He kept yelling,"If you aren't in a wheelchair, get up outta respect".

Anyway, the show is worth the money if you can handle Rhianna singing that God awful "Please don't stop the music" for ten minutes straight.

Anybody else wishing they would've performed "US Placers"?

Oh man, it never occurred to me they could do this live since they're all there (Lupe, Pharrell, Kanye). Love that song. The ultimate would be if Thom Yorke was in town and did a cameo appearance.
