Lock it up if you want to.

Glen Rice ****ing sucks. He is worthless. He is 35 dead minutes/game. Gets blown by and abused on defense. The knicks obviously saw the same thing that i do tonight.

Rudy, I don't know why you are so ****ing stupid and what you see in him that you can possibly see that he brings to the table. You don't have to be an NBA head coach to see what a steaming pile of crap rice is.

He absolutely kills us. Why the hell wasn't posey in in the closing minutes for defense?

Rice is good for 3s and leadership.

Both of which are in short supply for the rockets.

Posey is in Rudy's doghouse because Rice is too fat to fit.

Why are you not banned yet?

And who scored 5 key points down the stretch?
He committed 2 TO's but Cat had 1 and so did Steve.

We just couldnt stop them down the end.

We had poor perimeter defence tonight which was one of the main factor which cost us the game. After the 1st quarter, the Knicks were just draining their jumpers like crazy.

I knew the Knicks would have taken advantage of Rice towards the end of the game... and they did so with Spree who was pretty much a non-factor early, scoring lots to end the game. Posey was fairly productive today, I am not sure why he was taken off and not on during at the end of the game.

    -G'day-

Glen Rice will be Steve Smith's equivalent next year when his contract expires. Theyre valuable because of their contracts.

like he said, Yao was hacked. Plus he's a rookie in a very unique situation, playing big minutes (probably more than he should have in the 3rd qtr tonight.)

What bothers me more is the boneheaded, sluggish offense being run by what should be 2 somewhat experienced guards.

I don't blame Yao Ming because every time the Rockets go to that stupid play they all stand around on the weakside watching Yao go 1on1. No one cuts to the basket or sets a weakside screen for a teammate. Yao is not at this point a 1on1 player. He is a good passer. If you were a coach or a teammate, what would you do?

Actually, Glen Rice is worth about $9 million. AND HE DOESN'T DESERVE IT.

MAN...well he barely got to play. And it was terrible to keep him in against ALLAN HOUSTON and LATRELL SPREWELL. God...just look at how slow he was.....

    but man...

did you see him block that shot cleanly in the end but got called for a foul?

that was one screw up by the refs.

And the refs did not make any calls for yao or francis or mobley in the end.

    Well home court advantage.

    Rice was pretty useless.

    SHANDON ANDERSON owned us. :(

Lets all find excuses to make yao look like he did nothing wrong, it was every other player on the rockets team who was wrong, yao is always right.

You're an idiot. Who has said that.

    Everyone made their mistakes.

    Yao made tunovers.
We had 0 defense down the stretch.
Cat went cold in the 2nd half.
Steve was hurt even though he played very well.

By the way, who scored 5 of the Rockets last 6 points down the stretch. Care to take a guess.

I'd rather watch Yao make a few rookie mistakes then watch cat and steve make the same ones over and over again every season.

How can you blame Yao only? Cat missed 2-layups,steve had some turnovers and Rice just sucks at defense!! He couldn't guard a 5 yr old playing his first game of basketball. I;m sick of all these threads that are Bashing Yao because he was the last one to make a mistake. What about his 22 points, rebound and passing.Hey man he's a rookie and has alot too learn just like you.The Roxs and Bonehead Rudy lost this game not Yao by himself
