Beel Ingram said the Rockets have interest in him and speculates about the contract offer. http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba2-injuries-to-claim-the-la-clippers-next Beel seems to think giving him the max would be "over paying." what do you think? Some people say 12 pts 9 rebs ain't ****. I disagree. Marc Gasol didn't even avg that when he got paid big time.
Talented big men are pretty hard to come by. But if you have guys like jevale mcgee requesting 14 mill per, this would be a helluva a deal for hibbert. Comes down to how much a team really needs him. If the rockets don't sign him, somebody will throw that kinda money at him
He's 25, he's 7'2" and he's a huge improvement over our current options. I'd give the guy $10 mil per year without thinking twice.
He said something about the Rockets, earlier in the season, during his pre-draft scouting period. He's not coming here. Though on a more fair scale, no. Salary cap nightmare.
4 yrs 55 million--so 13.75 million or thereabout a year? Yes? No? Maybe a tad much but now is not the time to pinch pennies/dollars
I would do it and not think twice. Of course he will not do it and Indy will match what ever we can throw at him.
Lol of course, dude is pretty young and still developing. Imagine him at C, Monti PF, Chandler SF, Lee SG, Dragic PG Thats a solid team if Scola comes off the bench
To put it into perspective, the rockets are going to be paying explain around 10 million per. Hibbert is bigger, younger and has more potential. Logically speaking, he is worth the 13 mill per.
Typo. Rockets paying scola 10 million per. So comparatively speaking, hibbert deserves the 12-13 million per.
I doubt he would bolt indiana and the good situation he is in there for houston. I'm not sure what kind of offers he'll get. I do think he is a very good big man that has mismatch potential. How much is that worth?
