Given Steve Francis signed ball at tonights game!

    Hello,

For those of you who were at the game tonight you might have seen a guy, my Dad, getting a ball at the second timeout in the second quarter. He was announced to the crowd and got a Steve Francis autographed ball. Pretty sweet. I guess have season tickets for 20+ year has it's privileges?

The game was great and I got to watch the second period near the baseline. What amazed me is that the energy level is so much higher when you are right at the side of the court. I usually sit in Sec 107 row C and am only 20' away but it is nothing like front row! I was right next to Pearson when he took the feed from their PG and made that massive dunk. Very impressive when you are that close.

Another thing I notice all night was that Yao looks lost. Steve calls-in a play and Yao is just looking around for the right spot to stand. Sort of funny to watch and I never really seen this on TV.

    Cheers,

    Bill

Damn edit won't correct, tonighs to tonights.

I noticed that Yao looked lost too, but that's to be expected. Eleven day in Houston just isn't enough time to get acclimated with where your suppossed to be when. He'll get it, give him time. Congratulations on getting that ball, that must have been tons of fun.

Saw your dad get the Francis ball. Sweet! But how can you say that row C is " nothing like the front row? Isn't that just 2 rows back or are you talking about floor seats? Anyway, my vantage point sucks compared to yours, I was in row X.;)

LOL......I hve noticed that energy levels as seen by rows which are closer to action are generally higher, though, getting too close sometimes doesn't give you the whole court view.

Yap does stand...or look to stand, especially in the second half. May be he was tired.
