What I mean is, give him a week of vacation after the All-Star break. Has anyone noticed that he seems tired and that he does not seem as quick, strong, and consistant as he was a month ago? A tale-tell sign that he's tired is that he's missing his free-throw badly. I think he's tired because he's been doing a lot of commercials on his off-days. Noticed the recent Mac, VISA, and Rockets ads on TV? He's not getting the rest that he should be getting on his off-days and the guy has not have a prolong break from basketball in a long while.

What I think and hope will happen is that after the All-Star break, Yao will come up with one of those mysterious injuries and he's placed on the IR for a week so that he can rest. I'm not saying I wish that he gets injured (I would never wish anyone that). I'm saying that the coaches will determine that his pinky hurts and he needs to rest it for a week. This means no practice, no travelling with the team, no playing basketball for like a week. Maybe the Rockets will lose a game or two without him (maybe not), but it looks like he could really used a break.
