I had been ragging on the bench all day and Bonzi played good, JL3 looked impressive, and JHo played defense and offense.

I give the bench credit tonight but they still scare me....consistentcy is something I believe they can develop, IF they listen to their coach IMO.

I think JVG coached a great game and I hope we could all appreciate.

You JVG haters can be like me with the bench....one game at a time.

    PRAISE ON

I'd like to suggest making a separate "Good win but Fire JVG still" thread if you're so inclined.

But yes, tonight was awesome. Timely substitutions, great timeouts, good gameplan.

JVG smashed the table behind him when manu (is he?) made that 3 pts around 5:34 left in the 4th QT, that's my highlight of the game. lol

The man is a defensive wizard. Best defensive coach in NBA history.

Now let's hire an offensive minded assistant :)

i think we should give J Ho some credits, he has been really consistent when coming off the bench. A great and exciting win.

    Bonzi the man.

    A healthy Bonzi >> a partial TMac.

But I still blame JVG not play Bonzi earlier, otherwise Bonzi would be in even better shape now. This guy does need game time to help restore his shape, not just practice.
And Yao got some rest time today, which is good to him, and let's beat Clippers tomorrow.

And even worse, he will forget this game.

But please give Head credit too. He got 11 assists.

JVG is a great coach hands down, but our players were the ones to blame the past couple of games so i don't see any reason not to praise him. Thanks JVG

He finally lets Bonzi and the bench play. JVG is not a good coach whether we win or lose.

don't blame JVG for not playing bonzi earlier. he did what needed to be done. now bonzi learned his lesson and is willing to conform.

good coaching, if you ask me.

    -------------

    about tonights game:

it's nice to see what this team looks like when yao has some scorers around him. even with yao out, the defense was good and the guys kept putting the ball in the hole.

Also give Yao credit for his fouls and being rested on the bench most 2nd half.
