Winners of three of the last four w/ both Sura and Rafer out. Give me a break, JVG should be given an extension. If he went the rockets would probably hire some moronic "player-friendly" coach like Byron Scott. The *only* coaches out there I'd prefer over JVG are Popavich, the ZenMaster, and Carlisle.

Homer: We don't need a thinker. We need a doer: someone who'll act without considering the consequences.

    Everyone: Homer! Homer! Homer!

I agree, if he can't figure out to utlize all or most of the strengths of this talented offensive team he should be fired.

w/o TMAC, this team still should be at least 9-9, not 6-12

I think you should have paid attention to what TMac himself said last night while being interviewed. He was asked why there was such a slow start with his team. He said, like in a duh expression, we have new faces in a new system and we're depending on them. Im paraphrasing. I think TMac knows what he is talking about, as well as Jeff Van Gundy.

What, you mean it took him 17 games to realize that Stromile is a better player with Yao to cover up his foot speed defiency.

Yeah, JVG is really really smart.

I agree, a lot of those games without T-Mac were close but we collapsed in the end. That means we had the talent to win, but not the coaching to direct/inspire/teach the team to get there.

This team is winning not becuse of any genius of jvg whatsoever, but because they are despaerate to win since jvg`s genius leadership lead them to lose 7 straight games and now, with T-Mac's return to almost full strength, his exceptional abilities gives them someone to they can trust and follow...They are winning not because of jvg and his genius, but in spite of jvg and his ignorance..

We were also missing Alston our starting PG - and Stro and DA are both new. I know you think that we just throw players in there and -POOF- 9-9+ team but C'mon.

Courtesy of Le$ folly, Mr. Van Gundy already has two more years (AFTER this season) on his contract.
