Why is Patrick Ewing still playing basketball? I know he spends a lot of money, but I'd really like to see this Planet of the Apes wannabee hang it up and stop wasting everyones' time. I am alway's amazed that people don't think that players love the game and the compitition so much that they don't want to quit playing. Don't you get this huge adrenalin rush when someone comes out to guard you and you drain a 20 foot shot right in his face. Remember what it was like when you played high school or college ball with all the fans cheering you on? Imagine that with an NBA crowd. Nobody would want to give that up... ...but with a little more thought it is obviouse that Ewing is embarrasing himself. Yeah, but that all gets balanced out when I brick shots right and left and have bad knees that won't allow me to move like I once did. Or at least I think it would balance it out... Besides, Patrick probably needs the income to pay for sex at strip clubs.
