2020 has sucked for everyone. But my family has been fortunate. We are over-employed. We are happy and healthy. We don't want for anything. After some discussions with my oldest son and wife, we've decided to give most of our Christmas budget to charity this year. Personally, we donated to AbleGamers. It's an amazing charity that helps disabled people play video games. This may seem trite and 'first world problems' on the surface, but consider this. If you were trapped in your own body, being able to explore a world and socialize via a game would be such an amazing experience for you. I can easily walk out my door, throw a football, run down the street. drive and play basketball, rugby or paintball, but there are many people who cannot and this is probably the only way they will get that sort of joy. Today there are some anonymous donors who are matching donations up to $20,000. I tweeted the CFO of AbleGamers and he said it was about $7k so far. https://tiltify.com/@steveinspawn/steve#_=_ If you are able, please consider donating to any charity this year. It's been a shitty year, but we can end it on a positive note.
