this sucks. so i met this new girl at work which i totally like. then my buddy set us up for a night out and turns out she has a crush on me too. then we made out and stuff. everything was great and i was so happy. then a couple of weeks later, she sent me a message saying it ain't the right time and we work together. i think it's just an excuse. i hear rumors that she is going back to her ex. i really dig her and still do. this sucks. i see her at work everyday. i feel like ****. everything is so awkward now. what the hell did i do to deserve being played like this. sigh... why the **** does this happen to me. i still think about her all the time.
Doesnt look like you could have possibly been that emotionally invested based on the time frame we are talking here. I think its just a crush and nothing more. Or, youre still young. Or, you havent had a girl in a very long time and you felt like you were finally ending your streak, so it got you really excited. You'll be fine. Plenty of women out there. Women that even fit the 1 guy every 2 years starting at the age of 18 rule.
I love how "Anne Hathaway" has cemented itself into a sexual noun/verb on this board. I think I am going to start trying to use it in real life and see if it spreads.
Tangent here I know, but I just have to say it: people who break up using text messaging or e-mail are sissies. The phone is pathetic enough already, let alone a text. Doesn't anyone ever break up in person anymore?
LOL this kind of just happened. so ya, i am still pissed. i just need to grab a few drinks this Friday. it would be much easier if i don't see her at work everyday though. i just needed to rant. feel better now that i got some attention.
Go pay a good looking hooker to come in and pick you up and pretend to be your new girlfriend. Nothing incites jealousy on the girl heart than knowing she can't easily have you.
Dude this JUST happened to me! It hurts like a b****. I would confront and see if thats her real reasoning, and if it is cut all ties with the heifer.
Better to have it end now than to have some serious drama down the line. Then the office would REALLY be awkward. In the future, keep the laid and the paid separate.
Damn, brings back memories for me. I was in the same scenario 4-5 years ago at work. Everyone else is right; just get over it. Dwelling on the negativity, the should've, could've, or would've will only affect your job performance. There have been a few girls at work over the years I wanted to ****, but all I have to do is remember that one time I crossed over the line to mix business and pleasure.
at least you learned. my last job, i ****ed this girl. and she turned a total b**** after that. holy ****. i got away as fast i could. so i got the new job not even a year ago. i guess this time it better teach me.
