Sweet play! Whooo! When he retires he can go play for the Harlem Globetrotters!

    Doh!

He did take like 4 or 5 steps there. The ref must have been mesmarized by Steve's sweet ball handling. :)

If you look closely it looks like he only took 2 steps.

i think he takes 4 after the last dribble but the ball isn't quite in his hand for the first one so it's a mere 3 steps. i hear they may bring the travelling violation back one day.

it's weird, they don't call stuff like that but even pretend to shuffle your feet and they're all over it.

and awesome move, about the only reason i'm mad they didn't show the game on tv.

Almost all behind the back moves take at least 3 steps. It just takes that much time to bring the ball around your body. But it is never called traveling for aesthetic reasons, I supposed.

It technically 2 1/2 steps. I learned that at the Kenny Smith camp back in the day.

Looks like about 3.9 steps to me. That's the going rate in the NBA so it's all good :D

Let's just forget about how many steps he took and talk abou the move. It was one hell of a move.

Whatever it is, it's not nearly as many as Tim Duncan took on that one play where he got the pass near the 3 point line and walked in for the dunk.

Duncan took it to the whole normally. Franchise took it with style.

What software did you use to make that one, by the way?

What would we say if he was whistled for traveling, or missed the shot?

Anyways, the only purpose I can see for that is to maybe fake the defenders, otherwise, it's just show.

    Nice though.
