you're out of your mind if you think offering scott will even give us a whiff of lincecum. i, for one, have absolutely no problem giving up pence for a stud like lincecum.

WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY DO THAT????????????

Lincecum looked great last season. I can't imagine why they'd give up on a young arm like that.

Where did you read that? That's incredible... can't believe they would even consider that. Wow.

Hate to give up Pence but ...

Lincecum has all the marks of a future Astros killer. Better on the team than having to face him.

    Can't trade Pence.

He has heart and fire, something this team is missing.

When I read about Lincecum, I don't see anything about leadership.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Pence for Lincecum sounds good to me.

i guess the giants think he wont have a long career being a power pitcher under 6 foot.

if we had lincecum, and they had pence, there is no way in hell you'd be willing to make that trade. gotta love homerism.

we should give them caballo for him.

Giants are dumb for dealing Lincecum, they better be getting a real good bat in return.

pence is going to have a longer career than lincecum... i just dont see lincecum staying a power pitcher for a long time with such a small frame. i would keep pence i know im in the minority here.

i could see the devil rays or marlins working a trade.

    cabrera for lincecum
BJ upton and iwamura for lincecum
    delmon young for lincecum

oswalt has better mechanics. (not as rough on the body) and oswalts numbers have actually declined.

 if oswalt has declined at all it's virtually unnoticeable. without looking at his stats i doubt there's a steady downward curve in his production, with the exception of possibly strikeouts.

i'll agree about mechanics though. you can't predict injuries and perhaps lincecum's body is durable, but his delivery just screams future arm problems. perhaps that why he's so nasty. if i'm trading a stud like pence i'd rather get a known player like peavy or santana.

    This is genius.

I'd love to get Lincecum. He's 23 and has great stuff. I don't know if I'd deal Hunter for him but I would definitely look into swinging a deal for him.
