I've been watching a few lately, and I believe in ghost and spirits, but Im feeling alot of these tv shows are fake. Doors closing? Someone walking on the roof?

Their audio recorder picking up phrases from these spirits that sound nothing like what they are saying it actually says.... I think it's mainly for the hype to get ratings.

Do you believe these little coincidences (audio, sounds like someone knocking on the door, someone getting pushed ect) or is it faked?

Don't know if they're fake or not, but the reactions from these guys (and gals) are hilarious whenever they hear a sound or something.

They're fake. You can tell- the people in them are con artists.

    Some might be real.

Alot of it is most likely staged.

    Like this IMO.

This what I believe, Ghost Hunters is probably the most realistic show you can find and they never exaggerate anything. but Ghost Adventures on travel channel is a bit more entertaining, but IDK if everything is really real or not, and they do tend to exaggerate things though.

I find few things more stupid than adults believing in ghosts.

My guilty pleasure is Paranormal State on A & E.

I do believe in spirits, ghosts, etc... and that show scares the ish out of me. I know that some things are staged, and it annoys me that everything is taken care of once the PRS comes knocking on the door.

Some of the stuff that they find out about properties and the past lives are interesting though.

I just don't watch that show after 11 p.m. or when it's about demons.

    Hell Nah...

    Plus, the wife hates it.

Actually I've read just the opposite. There's even some debunking vid's on YouTube specifically about them.

Apparently there was one episode where it's fairly obvious that Grant ran fishing line down his jacket from the collar to his cuff then was able to tug it with the his hand as his body blocked the view of the camera. Made it appear that his collar was being tugged on by a spirit or something. He even did some horrible acting where he makes it seem as if the tug is so forceful that it stops him dead in his tracks. Like something off an old Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Some of it seems rather sketchy.

IMO ghost hunters is real. They usually find one a tiny piece of evidence one night or nothing on other nights so they seem pretty honest. Also, they arent quick to call a place haunted even if they got good enough evidence.

On the other hand, ghost adventures is so exagerated and they always seem to find a lot. Everything they encounter is always an evil demon.

They're real, I have no doubt about it. I've had some 'Paranormal Activity' level stuff happen to me when I lived in old houses in Galveston- bed shaking, shadows walking across the hall, stuff getting smashed, doors unlocking for no reason, people whispering to me. And it wasn't just me, it was my roommates and wife who saw this stuff. The bed shook with us both in it, like a grown man was shaking it, not a little tremor.

I can see how it seems silly if you've never had it happen to you, but I'll believe in the supernatural until the day I die.

i dont like the show w/ the bro's in afliction shirts and frosted tips and faux-hawks running around - they are just douchey and i think its b.s. and they act all bad-ass like when they walk in a house they will 'taunt' the spirits - "im back - did you miss me!"

but i do like the show 'most haunted places' or whatever its called.

Sounds your roomates were messin with you. No offense to anyone but I believe that if you are a believer in ghosts you have either sleepwalking issues, or schizophrenia. There is no scientific evidence of ghosts or goblins for a reason.

I always wonder what type of scientific theory believers think might apply to these apparitions, what kind of physical existence could have consciousness and an ethereal form.

Any wild ass guess will qualify.
