Indulge me a little, as this is probably not the #1 thing on ppl's mind (chasing Lin out of town is probably tops, and I'm right there with you), but I have a question for the knowledgeable bball minds around here:

Let's assume Lopez is in, so we don't have to play small ball. I want Asik on Aldridge and Dwight protecting the paint. i guess Dwight can double when appropriate, but I prefer he not.

Of course, Harden is going to be out there, because he's still our best creator.

Yet, I am dying to have Daniels out there with Harden and Dwight as much as possible, but Daniels plays the same position as Harden.

To put it simply, is it feasible to have the following players in the game when not playing small ball. If so, would you sit Beverley or Parsons?

    - Harden
    - Daniels
    - Dwight
    - Asik

I would lean towards sitting Parsons....

BTW, everybody, I just can't give up on the Rockets. I know they're a flawed group, but we've witnessed some great things from these guys this season and it's wayyyyyy too early to end it. I expect them to battle til the end, and I hope I'm not naive.

Problem is defense. Daniels can't guard Batum.

How low have the Rockets sunk to where Daniels is already considered one of the best players on the team? LOL

By the way...yes it is feasible. Bev at PG. Daniels at SG. Harden SF. Then Twin Towers with them. Wing defense will be a problem regardless who we put out there so screw it.

I am for starting Daniels and Lin, and bringing Harden and Beverley off the bench.

The numbers are clear. Daniels is a better shooter than Harden. Neither guy plays much defense. Daniels doesn't dribble the ball for 18 seconds before passing it to someone else. And he moves without the ball.

Bringing Bev off the bench is a tougher call. We need his defense. But we need Lin's play making when Harden is not on the floor. So although Bev might be a more reliable PG, Lin fits better with Daniels.

Has anyone actually been able to guard him this series? Parsons could not keep up with him at all last night.

Adjustment is PnR. Run it every possession.
Lin and Harden PnR, Harden and Howard PnR, and Lin and Howard PnR.
It's money and is key to our next 3 games.

But of course we are just gonna ISO all day every day.
