Getting an apt. an another state

    Hey guys i need some help with something. When i get outta high school i will be moving with my g/f into a apt and we are going to live together. But we are going to another state. What would i need to do to get an apt. in another state?

    Pretty much the same as you'd have to do to get an apartment anywhere - contact the managing agent for an apartment complex, discuss terms, sign the lease, and move in near the assigned date.

    Collegiate housing is somewhat different, in that you only rent a bedroom and the right to use the common areas, but the process is essentially the same.

    But from one state to another, there really shouldn't be any differences in renting an apartment - and if there are any, the leasing agent for the apartment will be sure to go over them. Nothing to worry about.
