Now we see why TMAC is timid and less aggressive towards the basket. He knows that he still have back issues and the more he drives, the more risk he'll take to have back problems. As you can see, even though he injured it on a block attempt, it was accumulation of his aggressiveness that night. He post up a lot and drove in a lot at that wizards game. Anyway, that's my 2 cents on why I think TMAC is less aggressive this year.

i completely agree with you, but i think with tmac's case if he doesn't drive, he decides to just camp and take more jumpers. since his shot isn't there for him as of this moment he cant simply rely on his j thus being more effective driving in instead of camping.

I believe that is not the reason. He claimed he is 100% in the preseason. Apparently, this injury indicated that T-Mac will be troubled with it for a long time, maybe the rest of his career.

Hence I wanted to trade him before he got re-injured.... We all know he's basically glass now... He's going to put up more and more jumpers and guess what he sucks at that.. His greatness shows when he is attacking the rim and creating open shots for his teamates.... I don't want a 35-40% fg shooter who has to take 20+ shots a game to get hot... I want a slasher who can attack the basket at will..

ONE WHO WILL GO TO THE FREE THROW LINE..... Did you know he's not even in the top 20 in Free throw attempts... Guys not even in the top 20... Ugh :(

He's supposed to be this amazing slasher / spot up jump shooter....

    Slasher? #29 in FTA at a .676 % horrible

Spot up Jump shooter? #13 in FGA ( to many if your shooting 419% )

No doubt the way he was playing that he still feels fragile. He overstreched his back when he was trying to block that 3pt attempt by number 0. I think

Yeah that was the most frustrating part of it.. He strained his back not landing ackwardly but actutally just going up to contest a shot ( put a hand to the shooters face ) is when he aggrivated it .......

You would think with all the money available for the best physicians that an NBA would have they would be able to get effective treatment for a back ailment like Mcgrady's. Just thinking about his injuries and his back has been like a thorn on my side. Give him some acupuncture something, I am hoping for a speedy recovery.
