The more I think about it the more I think that Sura is going to come back. But the question is will he produce? I mean he is 33 years old. If not I'd like to see us getting Fred Jones and Trevor Ariza with our MLE and use the exception on Banks. Then if possible use the vetrans minimum on Cato. Then I'd be happy with our off-season.
I believe that Sura will help us. I'm just not sure if it will be a full season. With us not getting Mike James, that makes Bob Sura more important for this season. He knows the system, the two superstars and seems to get along with Coach JVG above average. If he has anything left in that tank, I say we ride him out until it is official that his career is over. We need him now more than ever. Sad, but true. I agree in getting Bogans as well. If Sura can play at least 35% of a season, I'll be content with that. Let's just hope he plays after the All-Star Break and on to the playoffs. Has Cato made any statements about his status as a free agent? What does he want? What teams are interested in him? I looked around and couldn't find anything...
