This is the 2008-2009 official slogan. I can say this as it was announced tonight at the Tip Off Party. Morey was rocking the shirt, I commented on it when we talked for about 10 minutes. He and Tad Brown are great. Nice people and were interested in what my dad and I were talking about. Great Time tonight. GET RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That slogan is basically for the dense people who show up to playoff games WHO ARE TOLD TO WEAR RED and wear just whatever, the more infuriating is the ones who wear the white jerseys "because it's a home game". It's not a slogan people. It's a direct plea from the Rockets to wear RED at games. ....Or it's a Rockets Helping the Illiterate Campaign....
I like it. It's difficult to top "Its Time" but I kind of see this slogan a different way. Almost like "Get Red" could mean "Get Mad." This is our house, we need to Get Mad, Get Rowdy & Defend it!
That pissed me off so much...people that don't wear red are those corporate high rollers in the season ticket section...Even when they're given shirts at beginning of games they don't put it on.
