this season is do or die for your career in Houston.

Either prove you're a worthy starting point guard for a contending team, or be a trade-able 14 million dollar expiring contract.

it might not be fair, but this is the reality.

    good luck

its more do or die for the rockets, because if he has a terrible season, no one will take him with his contract, so he'll be pretty much untradeable. I hope he does good for the sake of the team.

it's a toss up between P-Beverley and Lin

Beverley really impressed me in the post season.

    Tenacious D, poise, composure.

you were impressed with jackson's career high and fisher getting around him? I'm happy he took out westbrook but people are reaching for imaginary straws.

This could be asked about any Lin thread.

Exhibit A: thread on Lin doing well in a pro-am game. WTF??? Of course he'll do well; he starts on a NBA playoff team and is generally regarded as a good scorer.

    Why do we exist??

    what's there to troll about?

Asik is going to be in demand, whether he's with Houston or trade-bait.

Lin is still unproven and has a lot to prove in order to show that he can be the point guard of the future for Houston, or be a valuable trade asset.

someone above said it best, if Lin doesn't do well, Houston is screwed either way.

he either hurts the team if he performs poorly, or hurts his trade value even more.

if he does well, all's well

Don't forget Harden, he needs to live up to his max contract by at least getting us out of the first round next year or he's out.

grasping? he impacted games in the series more than you're giving him credit for.

Even before the Westbrook's injury, I've never seen anyone guard him as well as Patrick did

If you're going to start another Jeremy Lin thread, at least get your facts right.

"14 million dollar expiring contract"? Really??

You have editing privilege, use it. Unless your purpose is to spread wrong information to generate more hate.
