Guys and Gals, I know how much alot of you dislike NY for one reason or another. But let me ask you a simple question. How come everytime there is a rumor of some sort, NY started it so that they can get over on us? How is it that NY is the evil most of you portray when if you pay any attention at all, they DO NOT think they will get the China boy, they DON'T think they will get Jay Williams, they DON'T think they will move up and they DON'T think about starting rumors to confuse the Rockets. They are focusing on getting either DaJuan Wagner, Chris Wilcox or Drew Gooden. Its all immature speculation when I am sitting here 6 hours a day listening to what the fans and the media are saying and most of you are 1500 or so miles away speculating on what they are trying to do to Houston and how they are trying to scam the first pick from us. There are reporters who have no clue, have the worst rep and write/say garbage. Alot of you listen to these guys who don't know how to listen to the pulse of the fans over here and what they want. These clowns said that the Yankees would never get Giambi from Oakland and what happened? These clowns say that NY Knicks will fire this coach or this GM and get it wrong each and every time. These same clowns are feeding you the garbage to make you think that NY has some plot with Stern to steal our pick. They have hardly any hopes of moving up because the GM said it. He knows that his team has nothing to offer besides Spree and thats it. I guess he must think Houston is dumb enough to trade Spree for the number one, eh? Please, get off it. This is not some big conspiracy on how to steal our pick. If anything, they want to TRADE UP to draft TWO players and want to get Allen Houston off the payroll. Since alot of you are into rumors and how they eminate from NY, here is one I heard on the way to work last night: Houston to Houston for the #1. My source told me that one. Here is another one that one of my other sources told me about over some Iced Vanilla Coffee at Bryant Park: 2 Buckets of Gatorade for our #1 and Mobley. Any others you heard about that NY has started? Might as well get them all out so we can just get to some real analysis and some real news. Popeye, where are you when I need you? Please provide me with some real action.
