Everyone on the Grizzlies is on the trading block.

I think the Rockets could get MD for Kenny Thomas, Langhi, and maybe a draft pick.

MD could be our backup SG. Imagine this lineup: part-time subs in parenthesis.

    Olajuwon-Cato-(Collier)
    Taylor-(Griffin)-Collier-Bullard
    Griffin-Williams-Morris-(Bullard)
    Mobley-Dickerson-(Williams)
    Francis-Norris

This team will win 50+ games. Dickerson could come off the bench and score 10ppg.

I guess there's not a lot of enthusiasm for this idea. One problem: you are way over-paying for Dickerson.

He's a player but we really don't need him now.

As long as the (maybe) pick is not a 1st rounder, I have no problem with this proposal.

Langhi has potential but MD is in the Now...get him back, like you said Memphis needs alot & is doing house cleaning, plus MD seemed to dig H-town.

MD is a starter. He will not accept bench time behind Cat. He puts up close to 20ppg a night. He could start anywhere else in the league. Anyways we dont want to become a PORTLAND , too much skill not enough ball. No heart.

We will never acquire a backup SG besides a CBA type as long as Moochie Norris is on this team. If you watched any basketball at all this year, you know he sees the floor very well, can break anyone down off the dribble, can shoot it well, plays solid defense, and above all is clutch. He has earned his 20 minutes per game on this team, and there is no way he's going to do that if you play Steve solely at PG. Francis is our backup SG, and we don't need or want another one.

Besides I would not want to lose KT for MD
I think KT is what we need up front.
While Md would sure up our backcourt
I think resigning SA does the same thing.

We need up front more than down back
