I really thought he was going to make the best of his opportunity to get that backup Center spot. I pray that he is ok and if not he recovers.
Has any player ever got hurt within a shorter amount of time after entering a game? That was just really bad luck.

It did not look good. His right foot got planted way back and all his weight came down with that right leg fully bent back. Hoping for the best.
Seriously? Just no. Why should we rep you other than you saying its a prayer for Greg? Pretty disrespectful. But, praying on Greg to have the fastest bill of health. He has looked good in his limited minutes and with Asik not playing or whatever, we are going to need him and our other bigs to step up.
Mchale never gives Smith any consistent PT, thinks he's a liability from last year cause he was prone to fouling, but man can the guy finish around the rim, get well soon.
Sucks for him. I really like the way this kid carries himself. Never b****es about PT, always hustles and makes the best of whatever PT he gets. Feel bad that he was probably about to get some regular PT with Asik getting the "Bug" and then this happens…. tough. Get better Greg.
Could have been much, much worse. I was immediately optimistic since I didn't see any shear forces on his leg, much harder to tear a ligament when you're just hyperextending (or in his case hyperflexing) a joint along its natural plane of movement.
