Now I love German sausages as much as the next Texan, but this German spam has got to stop! The last four days or so I'm getting German spam sent to various email addys at _____.rr.com that wind up in my in-box. Is this a new virus? Anybody else with it?
yup, its been spreading. Working for EV1, I do support email and about 1/3rd of our customers have been getting them. Dunno how but our SPAM filters are now catching them.
It's very bad because it is actually Neo-Nazi spam that advertises right-wing extremist webpages. It is a variation of the Sober virus. Do not open those mails...just delete them. Fortunately, I haven't received any of those, but my girlfriend's mailbox is getting flooded with them.

I got it to. I didnt open any but they were very annoying. They seem to have stopped so I assume our IT dept fixed the problem
Yes! I thought we were the only ones. I can't imagine getting bombarded with spam that's less relevant to us. I did babelfish one page and it was talking about german women in WWII and I was like huh? If you are going to spam me, at least send me some pr0n, please.
My work email is getting bombarded with it. I got 28 of them in 12 hours. Unfortunately, we don't have a good filtering system. We can block individual addresses, but these are all set up to "come from" different ones. I wish there was something we could do.
A bunch of ppl I know at UT are getting it at their mail.utexas.edu accounts... So far I haven't gotten any, but that doesn't mean it won't spread to me somehow.
Roadrunners span email protection is reallly crappy in my opinion..they are not stopping anything..i have like at least 5 or more when i wake up in the morning and it never used to be that way.
