Doesn't deserve it's own thread. Could have gone in any of the JJ or GG threads.

 

It does. Joe Johnson will cost us a playoff game.

 

Eye test shows me Joe slow mos post ups doesn't fit the flow of the Rockefs offense while Gerald's athleticism and quickness fits seemlessly.

 

there’s like 3 different threads that post could’ve gone in on the 1st page alone...GG being better than JJ isn’t some new thought that hasn’t been discussed to death already

 

Our offense is energized every time he comes in. He could be a key player for years to come play the ****ing man

Anyone can see the obvious.

I mean its not even debatable. Just laughable.

Green brings energy on both ends of the court. His no hesitation shot and quick release actually helps the team offense.

JJ has been absolute trash. He should not even be in the NBA anymore.

 

Ash had found someone to hate on since everyone else she has hated on is doing well. I'm happy for you, Ash.

 

We already know this it’s been stated several times now send this over to the coach we don’t need it here

 

Obviously not enough for MDA to still be playing JJ over GG

 

Green hasn't even took bad shots anymore either.. Man. Green is the X-factor!

 

Okay, it is great we have JJ fans and GG fans, but let's remember they are bench players. Bench players are mostly role players...they have styles of game that are needed at times or against certain teams. In our case, Morey has constructed a unique team. We are a fast pace 3 point team as well as we have players that excel at ISO...so we can effectively play both styles. However, we are best in a fast pace game.

So when we play another fast pace team, we use ISO to slow them down and keep them out of their rhythm. And, when we play a slow pace defensive team, we can hit them both with ISO and fast pace/3pt shooting. Last night we played New Orleans that is a fast pace team without Cousins, some say faster than us. We used JJ to slow them down with his ISO and defensive abilities. Tonight, we are using GG for his quickness and 3 pt. shooting because Minnesota is a slower team...they can't keep up with our pace.

So please, let's not say get rid of JJ or GG...we need each player's special abilities for countering opposing teams. The Rockets are unique because we are VERSATILE...and it is hard to beat a versatile team. JMO

But yes, the stats do not lie. GG gives you more points, rebounds, steals, blocks, higher FG%, +/-, player gamescore, and lower turnovers than JJ.
