Tells it like it is, and reports had Karl feeling the blues, it turns out he was just sad for Billups, he might just be filled with positivity after all the battles he's fought.

Stating the obvious and I'm glad for him because I couldn't put up with a guy like T-mac / Melo who think they're all that and just will not play defense like the rest of team or like they should. Melo's reponse was uncalled for.

Melo will never be the leader that the Knicks want him to be. Billups was the man in the locker room while in Denver. Billups will probably be the man in New York. Amare is not really the leader type either... Melo and Amare just does their thing and score... and not giving defense any thought...

Melo leaving is a load off Karl's back. Their struggles over the years were common knowledge. Melo is not a totally coachable star player and, like JVG said on several occasions, your best player sets the team mood. When Melo wouldn't play defense the way the coach wanted, that made it more difficult to light a fire in the others.

With Melo and Amare on the Knicks coached by D'Antoni, you can bet they will never be a good defensive team and will probably never contend for a title. But at least the Knicks will be "exciting".

Good point about Billups in Denver. He probably had more influence on other players than Melo.

To be honest, I am relieved that we didn't get Melo. I just don't want to root for him.

Half way through that clip I thought Coach was going to dig out a greenee, but then he probably realized he was on camera and stopped short.

Melo had a chance to take the high road and look classy. Instead he jumps in a mud bath.

    Telling.

Lucky for him, he's good at basketball. He's certainly not winning any spelling bees.

This way of thinking is moronic. Are you telling me if Melo ended up in Houston you wouldn't root for him? Lol.

You guys bashing Melo are idiots. Organizations trade players 95% of the time without players having any control. All Melo truly did was refuse to sign a extension. Its not like he pulled a Lebron. You guys may be satisfied with a mediocre team of role players, but if your telling me you'd pass up on Melo to keep our mediocre team of "good guys" then you have no nothing about basketball

    Also missed a key ft.

Looks like the Cavs are going to win this.

The refs called some horrible fouls on Billups 3 point attempts where he threw himself into the defender.
