That is what negotiations are all about… perspective. It’s possible that both teams can make themselves better.

I think the trade was the best the Suns could have hoped for, but the Sh*t is pretty deep in that article. I think they may improve a bit in 25 and 26, but until they can get out from under Beal’s contract they will be lottery bound.

I honestly think it was a pretty fair trade for both teams. It’s what the Rockets were able to do after the trade that makes it look so bad. The Rockets look like real contenders while the Suns still have egg on their face from the Beal trade.

I highly doubt Dillon Brooks is ever going to be a superstar.

I guess everyday can't be April fools. I am happy we got out from under the Jalen contract without having to give up much. I would almost have done this without getting KD.

My god homers who write articles for their teams are the absolute worst. They are just as bad as influencers on social media.

This reminds me of some "Rockets fans" that are no longer here.

Whatever makes them sleep at night ....lol....

In all seriousness, Fleming and Maluach are the only pieces that can become something.....if they do not screw that up.

Usually you do the whole charade of tallying who has won when those youngins develop.....or fail to develop.

If the Rox win a championship or make the Finals, then they have won.

And the Suns reporters seem to be on their ride of lunacy, better to humble it.

I mean that’s verbatim what felt like half the board described the situation as before the trade.

Jalen is a star lead guard on the 2nd best team in the west. Look at his ppg and age, look at our wins, he’s a good defender now, etc.

If that was ones honest assessment , this should feel spot on.

That one is the most true thing said...

I think he is still the most active social media member that is still a star in the league.

    Well documented over the years.

I think that article is spot on about KD. I would've preferred to keep this year's draft pick, but the decision's been made. Hopefully, it works out this time for KD; especially since he's on the Rockets.

If the situation was reversed, I absolutely would be saying the same things

Phoenix was in just about the worst possible situation. Keeping Devin Booker, being able to try to talk myself into some amount of hope on Jalen Green developing even more, and having Maluach sounds way better than the abysmal season they had last year.

Guess there's still a chance with Jalen

I wouldn't bet on it though, let alone write a post like this

There is a chance with Jalen. But with KD there is a chance for the Rockets.

It’s definitely a hybrid of hopium and copium.

I like Jalen Green. I think that he’s gonna make an All-Star game or two. I think he’s always gonna have some consistency issues with his shooting. And I think he’ll be able to create shots for people, but not be anything more than maybe average at that, star level.

Maluach. Maybe. it’s probably likely that he ends up being an effective defender and somebody that can finish at the rim. He probably will be one of the more switchable Giants in the league..

And yes, I like Fleming ok. And Brooks did a ton for us, but I’m just not convinced that the shooting is gonna keep up and I thought that Brooks was pretty awful with his decision making in the playoffs. DFS might be a slightly lesser player, but I am hoping he is more professional and I think he is the greater bet to continue to shoot efficiently.

Jalen Green, if he plays well, is two years away from being able to opt out and demand a massive extension. Green also was probably not going to love the concept of Amen Thompson shifting into the lead guard role. Thompson has a laundry list of positive attributes that green has never shown.

If Green blows up, I don’t know how much I will regret. And I really think there’s a ceiling on how much better he can get. I think he’s going to be a much better Jordan Clarkson.

Durant, is not someone that I have historically loved.

But these are the facts as it pertains to us.

-We have what should be high draft picks coming over the next few years it can be used in trade. This includes Phoenix. They best pray that everything goes as right as the author of that article described.

-The Nets 2027 pick is almost assuredly going to be top 6.

-Jalen Green couldn’t be our go to score in the playoffs next year with us having any chance at a championship

-We addressed our most glaring weakness with the best possible answer. We don’t need somebody to carry us night in a night out. We need someone to be highly efficient and hit shots when they matter.

-every player on the roster will benefit from Durant. Not only the knowledge, but the spacing.

-Phoenix was a **** situation. Just because you have two or three good players doesn’t mean anything you need depth and we have that.

Some of them still are. I don't care if we traded Jalen for a bag of chips, he is not a Rocket anymore and just like Harden, I don't wish him ill but he no longer matters.

The very first claim made in this is wild. Maluach would go #1 overall next year? Over Peterson? Over Diabantsa? Over Cam Boozer? It's wild how off base that claim is. I like Maluach. But just wow. The idea that their **** show of a franchise is going to be the place to offer "structure" to Jalen Green after he leaves Udoka and the 2nd seed Rockets is also a pretty out there premise.

I do agree with every single thing he said about Dillon Brooks and Kevin Durant though.
