Anyone interested in genealogy on ancestry.com can use this link. It's the library edition but has all the same records. http://ancestrylibrary.proquest.com/aleweb/ale/do/login?userid=386K76R4CJ&password=welcome
This is great. I'm already finding some stuff. Although the trail seems to end when I get to immigration records. Seems no one in family came here documented or changed their names.
Very interesting. My family are recent immigrants with unusual names, so there wasn't much to find, but I think I may have already stumbled upon a family secret. Ha!
Thanks for the link. My relatives have a fairly well chronicled history in the Midwest, particularly Ohio. There were a number of articles involving relatives and crimes. Some were quite brutal. I guess every family tree has skeletons.
