It's awesome to see Cassell drain the meaningless, against NBA-protocol-three at the end, as a "screw you, Utah".
I was listening to Gene and Jim when it happened, not watching TV. I nearly came unglued too. They cut out the part where Jess Kersey walks by them and says to Gene, "You are an -ss hole", which was heard by everyone listening on radio. There are several moments during the two championship years that are unforgettable for me and that was one. Did the national TV broadcasters react at all?
I'd love to see/hear a clip of Gene Peterson screaming out "That's BULLSH**!!!" when the Rockets were playing the Spurs in the playoffs in the 90's. I happened to catch the game on the radio while driving home from San Marcos and I didn't get to see the play.
That Stockton game winner is pretty bad! I can't believe some things that referees let go of nowadays...
