I just thought this was pretty amazing. It reminds me of that James Bond movie Die Another Day or watever it was called with the big solar beam that melts the arctic <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/z0_nuvPKIi8?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/z0_nuvPKIi8?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
That is impressive. Makes you think there is a lot more potential for solar power than we're making use of, not that we don't know that, but .... dayum.
Haha I was thinking the same thing, somebody needs to kill that guy before he puts on a labcoat and starts threatening to blow up world monuments.
Interesting how close the guy kept getting his hand to the beam. I'm guessing they had a discussion before hand, as the scientist dude just watches him coming within inches of his flesh falling to the ground in embers.
