its a Compaq. The charger cord has to be bent just right in order for the laptop to charge. Im in need of a new one. Where can I find one cheap and in town???
or go to the big compaq outlet out in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure you can get something there and they usually sell fairly cheap. Although I havent been in years so I'm not sure it exists anymore
You can go to Best Buy/Circuit City and buy a Targus charger. They usually come with several interchangeable tips, and usually one will fit your laptop. You'll have to check the back of the package, though.
Most of the in town places will be pretty expensive but if you need one now check frys. If you can wait a few days ebay would be much cheaper. Also you may not need to buy the whole charger. If its one that separates into two parts then the part you are looking for is often generic. Just take the charger part into a place like frys and ask one of the salesmen.
i used the targus chargers from bbuy, and ccity for about 4 months till the price dropped on amazon. i would use it for 29 days, and return it, and then proceed to a different store and do it till i got mine in
Ok I needed this thing quick!!! So I wnt to Best Buy and bought a Targus charger. It ran me almost $100 Then I took my old broke charger to Frys. They said it would cost $150 to fix!!! No one could help me to see if there was a replacement for that exact part. They pointed me to the Targus Chargers So, now im looking to see if I can find one on amazon.com so I can get some of my money back from the butt raping i took at best buy. SHould I look at Targus chargers? or try to find a Compaq charger? Sorry guys. Im clueless. Thanks for the help.
When you say charger I think that you're meaning ac/dc adapter... On eBay ..... http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...os=ZIP/Postal&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=
