Why haven't I seen his name in any mock drafts? Is he not skilled enough to be drafted by an NBA team? Will he go undrafted?

    Gee, I don't think so.

He is ok, but he plays for SMU....that speaks for itself.

He may make it on his name alone though!

He has perfect skills for a 2 guard but is only the size of a point guard. He may be a late second round pick but I would guess that he will fall into the Curtis Staples category, remember him. Awesome shooter, best all time NCAA 3 point shooter but did not have the size and does not have the ball handeling skills to play the point.

Gee would do well honing his skills in the CBA or in Europe, then trying to land on a team. A lot of successful players have come that path (i.e. MArio Elie)

Gee could get drafted late second round. Maybe by the Spurs? That's the team he'd like to play for. He's got the skills to be a good shooting gaurd in the NBA but not the size. He's 6-2, 165 lbs. He may eventually be able to be a backup point gaurd. He played the point at UH and has the ability to create and get his own shots. He'll be playing pro ball somewhere, but probably not here.

I'm hoping the Rockets invite him to training camp if we deal Drew this offseason. I seriously doubt he'll be drafted. He wasn't even at the Chicago draft camp.

Jeryl Sasser is a junior for SMU who declared for the draft early. I think he might return to school though.

Jason Sasser played for Texas Tech and was drafted in the second round 4(?) years ago.

    Thanks Puedlfor....

Jeryl Sasser is the player I was originally thinking of, and yes, he played for SMU. Jason did in fact play for TT. He even played a little NBA ball for Dallas for a while.
