Gas prices have been falling in Houston the last week or so... Which is good with the holiday weekend coming up.... I saw $2.65 today.. anyone see anything much cheaper than that in Houston yet this week?
anyone gone to www.houstongasprices.com or even www.gasbuddy.com shows all the lowest prices around town. Cheapest in Houston is a Coastal which is $2.47 You can search by zipcode to find one around you.
As for that $2.80 price in Galveston/Texas City, there are a three price gouging mofos on Harborside Drive in Galveston right before turning onto the causeway that are always 10-15 cents higher than the average, so they're probably driving up the average. Xerobull can back me up on that one.
Does it really matter, though? Next summer, prices will go to $3.10, then they'll fall back to $2.90, then back up to $3.15, then back to $3.00. One step forward, two steps back.
No, that's TWO steps forward and two steps back You want some of me?? I had this poster hanging above my bed when I was 14! tinman has Vernon Maxwell, I got Paula Abdul...
Ahhhh i remember those days...i feel old now....considering i had a b-day last night it's all downhill now lol i wans't allowed to have posters like that when i was younger
because there's less demand. summer vacations increase gas demand....and prices are usually at their highest during the summer months.
a-train.. the story was on the front page of the chronicle before I mentioned it .. so I waited for someone else to talk about it first
What were the prices near the end of last August (before Katrina hit)? I'm not saying $2.65 is cheap, but at least you will be paying less than you were a couple weeks ago!
Spoken by a true parent...hahah i dont experience summer vacation anymore so it all looks like one long year
yeah, i hear ya! while my oldest is still young, we actually pull him out of school and travel together during the school year.
I paid $2.59 this morning at RaceTrac on 249. Its better than paying 2.89 but I still wish it would drop another dollar.
