Gas is 20 cents cheaper in effing Seguin Texas ...

    Must be all of those mongo refineries they have a stones throw away.

    Seriously, On Friday I paid $2.87 on the way out of town last week. On the way back in BFE Texas I pay $2.63. What is up with that?

    there was a WalMart near the Woodlands that was @ $2.67 on Thursday

    From what I understand it has to do with the EPA Summer regulations in Houston. I remember coming home from Huntsville for the summer and being shocked that gas was 15-20 cents more expensive down here.

    Price for gas at an Exxon in Houston was about 20 cents more than the price of gas at an Exxon station in Dallas that I pumped at. Just 2 months earlier, the prices were pretty much reversed at the same 2 stations - Houston was about 15 cents cheaper. Gotta love gas prices... :D
